Slow Cooker Thai Peanut Chicken

Tuesday

So many people have asked how to get their kids to eat fish. I have been dreaming up a post almost exactly like this one so I will just go ahead and link to it until I make one:

Wednesday

It is a certain 11 year old’s Birthday! She asked for take out Sushi because she is practically a teenager but she normally asks for Shepherd’s Pie when it is her turn to pick dinner so let’s link to that.

Thursday

Slow Cooker Meatballs and Spaghetti Squash (for the adults), Regular Spaghetti for the Kids. I love to double this for the weekend for meatball subs.

Friday

Pizza – I am a big believer that knowing I get a rest from cooking on Fridays motivates me to not order take out the other days and stick to a meal plan. That and we are totally in a rut of relaxing on Fridays. So sorry this day is always boring here. It is still pretty exciting when the door bell rings since kids scream ‘pizza’s here!’ every time.

Saturday

We are headed to a party and I’m bringing this Spinach and Artichoke dip by Alton Brown. But if we weren’t these Chicken Cacciatore Subs caught my eye while I was on the Food Network Website. Oooh – these slow cooker Cuban Sandwiches look good too!

Sunday

My husband has declared he wants to try smoking a brisket from our half cow. This website has such a great tutorial on making Smoked Beef Brisket. But I think I’ll have him check out these how to’s  here and here as well.
